On Saturday 17th of October in London, over 15,000 Junior Doctors marched on Parliament Square.
We marched to protest the imposition of a contract that would see junior doctors being stretched, working longer hours with a significant reduction in our pay.
We marched to protect patients from being seen by over-exhausted error-prone doctors in the future.
We marched for our colleagues working over the weekend providing the 7 day NHS Jeremy Hunt claims doesn’t exist.
We marched to secure a future of hope for all the medical students watching on in anticipation.
We marched to save the NHS.
